Thanks to Duncan Hines, red velvet cake with whipped cream cheese was ready by the time momz got back from dinner. Next time I do red velvet, I'm making cupcakes with the same whipped cream cheese frosting. Yum!!!

I was unhappy with the apple pie crust I made the other day... I'm determined to make a better one - this time using a food processor to mix the dough instead of the mixer or my hand. The filling was excellent, though, but the pastry turned out tough.
I found an expertvillage youtube video on how to make apple pie dough using a food processor... that's the next baking goal, I think.
